The occasional weekend away, no matter how lovely, does play havoc with the Friday puzzle publishing schedule. I should have had more forethought and called it just 'puzzle' instead.
Nevertheless, in this special Monday edition of the Friday puzzle, we plough on with the answer to last week's puzzle:
Are there more inches in a mile or Sundays in a thousand years?
As any units converter [there's an app for that — ed] will tell you, there are more inches than Sundays: there are 63,360 inches in a mile and about 52,000 Sundays in a thousand years.
This week's puzzle saw my esteemed friend and compadre (who compiles the puzzles and links) present what was essentially a wordsearch. Unfortunately, such wordsearches don't set well in blockquotes, so I can't present this week's puzzle.
